How does my purchase help the AUC?

Every time an AUC member University, its staff or students buy a Mac (desktop or laptop) the AUC receives a small rebate which funds its many activities including Conferences, Workshops, Scholarships, Grants, etc. The more our members buy the more rebate we receive and the more we can put back into supporting Apple users on campus.

Can I buy from any Apple reseller?

Unfortunately No, for the AUC to receive its rebate you need to purchase as an AUC staff or student from an Apple Authorised Campus Reseller in Australia or New Zealand. The Apple Retail Stores and Apple On-line store are owned by Apple Inc in the USA and they do not provide the AUC with a rebate on sales. The mass merchants (JB Hi-Fi, David Jones, Domayne, Dick Smith, Harvey Norman, etc) also do not provide the AUC with any rebate.

I don't have a local Campus Reseller. What do I do?

Even if you don't have a local campus reseller, please contact the one nearest to you in Australia or New Zealand and they will gladly assist you with your purchase. Buying from an on campus reseller supports them as well as provides the AUC with funds for its many programs.
