MacWorld Scholarship Applications

Allocated Scholarships

Each AUC Member University has at least one Allocated MacWorld2009 Scholarships. Those Universities who did not send a delegate to WWDC 2008 have an extra MacWorld 2009 Scholarship.

The number next to each University represents the number of Allocated MacWorld 2009 Scholarships they have available.

Each University has its own closing date for applications however the AUC has strongly encouraged each University to nominate their Scholarship recipient to the AUC by the 24 October 2008.

It is up to each University to determine the best method of selecting the best person(s) to attend the MacWorld Conference. However the Scholarship is aimed at University staff (at least 50% full time workload) whose job description includes the following tasks or has the following skills.

  • Supporting Macintosh computers in either an end-user or laboratory environment.
  • Administering Macintosh based servers or back-end systems.
  • Working with and using Macintosh computers in a Professional capacity.
  • Has a good working knowledge of Mac OS X, basic networking and current IT developments.
Applications are also open to those from the digital arts disciplines who can show that the conference would be of benefit to them.

Competitive Scholarships

The AUC is not offering any Competitive MacWorld 2009 Scholarships.
