WWDC Conference Registration

To attend WWDC you need to register via Apple's Developer Connection web site. If you are already an ADC member (Student, On-line, Select or Premier) you can skip this step.
Staff - Joining ADC is free for those that want to be On-line members. Apple does offer extra levels of membership such as Select and Premier which incur a charge but do offer some added benefits including regular mailings and access to beta software via FTP. In this case we will register as an 'On-line' member at no charge.
Complete the 'Becoming an ADC Member' form and make sure you put your University name in the 'Company Name' field. Complete the form and follow the process until you have registered as an ADC On-line Member. Please note the ADC Person Number (ID Number) on this page as you and the AUC will require this in the future.
DO NOT PURCHASE A WWDC E-TICKET, THE AUC WILL BE PURCHASING THIS FOR YOU.
Students
You will join ADC as a Student Developer, this will cost you AUD$119 (Apple have recently reduced the price due to the exchange rate) so please have a valid credit card ready (Visa, MasterCard or Amex are accepted). Click on the link below to start the process.
Select 'Australia' as your country.
This will add the Student Membership purchase to your shopping cart and you should see the following no the right hand side of your window.
Click on the Check Out Now button. You may be required to register for the AppleStore if you have not previously done so. You will eventually come to a screen offering you a number of payment options (some might be greyed out), the best option is the Credit Card one as this will give you instant student membership and allow Apple to transfer your free WWDC e-ticket to you without delay.
Continue with the process of checking out until you have succesfully purchased an ADC Student Membership. Please note the ADC Person Number (ID Number) on this page as you and the AUC will require this in the future.
If you have successfully completed the above steps you have now finished registering for WWDC 2008 as a Student. Congratulations! We will be in contact with you to confirm your free WWDC E-Ticket.
