The official conference airline is Virgin Blue. Group flights have been blocked at discounted group airfares for your convenience. Seats are very limited, so early registration will ensure your first choice of dates and times. Flights are listed in the PDF file at right, with the airfare total per person including all taxes and GST. Please note that any change to these existing group flights is subject to availability at the time of reservation. Flight schedules and airfares are subject to change until the day of departure. Bookings must be made through ID Meetings & Events via the online conference registration form. Please do not make your own flight booking on the Virgin Blue website.

If you plan on staying on in Tasmania, please consider carefully your preferred airline travel itinerary prior to registration. Flights to and from Tasmania are very limited and your early consideration of your preferred travel plans will be necessary on this occasion. Additional airfare supplements may be applicable should you change your dates from those shown below, payment of which are your own responsibility. Changes to your travel itinerary are not possible when you are at the Conference.

If you register for the Workshops on Sunday 25 September, your forward flight will be amended to Saturday 24 September.  Please note that this may be at an additional airfare supplement, dependent upon seat availability at the time you register.  This will be confirmed to you at the time of your registration.

Virgin Blue Terms and Conditions of Air Travel

• Changes are permitted up until 48 hours prior to the outward departure at a fee of $20.00 per change per person, plus any airfare difference should the same fare not be available.
• Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of the outward departure.
• Cancellations between 17 June and 28 days prior to departure will incur a cancellation fee of $50.00 per person.
• Cancellations within 28 days of travel will incur a 100% cancellation penalty.
• Virgin Blue have specific terms and conditions of onboard travel which will be outlined in your personal confirmation of registration.

Flights from International Home Ports
Delegates from New Zealand and other countries are advised to book flights through their local travel agent, as airfares are usually cheaper from the point of origin.  ID Meetings & Events will make accommodation bookings as required at Wrest Point for international delegates, as required.

Transfers: Transfers upon arrival in Hobart to your accommodation are at your own arrangement and expense.  Transfers will operate from Wrest Point to Hobart Airport on Wednesday 28 September and Thursday 29 September only for the group flights as outlined above.  Full details will be provided to you during the Conference.
