About the Apple University Consortium

The Apple University Consortium (AUC) is a group of universities which work with Apple Computer to support the use of Macintosh computing technology on campus to further the goals of education. Raising computer awareness on campus is a key priority of each centre and this is achieved through newsletters, training, seminars and demonstrations. Apple Computer and AUC members are involved in the joint support of innovative uses of technology in education such as multimedia title development, interactive learning and CD-ROM technology through the use of the Apple University Development Fund (AUDF) administered by Apple and university staff. The AUC Executive Committee is responsible for liaising regularly with Apple Computer and the Consortium to ensure that the goals of each individual member are achieved.
